Q. Why do you need my email address? What if I don't want to provide it?

A. With all the spam out there, we understand your concern. However, we ask for your email address for two important reasons.

First, email is our primary method of keeping in touch with our members and friends. If you don't give us an email address, we won't be able to tell you about our upcoming events. We also won't be able to send you a confirmation of your registration, and this confirmation includes a coupon for $5 off your first meeting's fee.

Second, our contact management system uses the email address to distinguish you from our other members and friends. If you give "none@none.com" as your email address, all of your information will be deleted the next time someone provides this as their email address.

Q. Okay, but if I do give you my email address, what will you do with it?

A. We will use your email address only to contact you for matters regarding Washington REIA. We will never, ever share, trade, give, or rent your information to anyone outside of Washington REIA. Never! We are as concerned about privacy as you are, and we give full respect to the information that you share with us. In addition, every email that we send to you will include any easy-to-use "unsubscribe" option. We honor all unsubscribe requests immediately.
